ANXIETY

Anxiety disorders are one of the most common mental health conditions in the United States. Symptoms can be mildly disruptive or feel completely overwhelming. Although anxiety is typically described as “excessive worry”, we know that it can present in many ways and affect all areas of life. It can lead to unwanted thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and rob you of your focus and energy.  Symptoms can negatively affect relationships,  work/school/sports performance or even your overall happiness. We are trained and experienced in the most effective approaches to treating anxiety and we work with clients to determine how to meet their specific needs.  Some of the methods we use pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
