Coping with life can be hard, but you don’t have to do it alone. You may feel awkward or anxious about seeking help and that’s okay. Whatever you may be experiencing, I believe that listening and learning about a person’s story is the cornerstone of effective therapy. I see myself as your ally. My aim is to empower you with the strategies and confidence to improve your overall quality of life.

I use a person-centered and strengths-based approach. This means I recognize that no one person is the same, and we all have a unique set of strengths and challenges. Together, we will discuss what you want to get out of therapy and how to utilize your specific strengths to achieve your goals. As a licensed social worker, I have experience working with individuals, couples and family groups, and I can use a variety of therapeutic techniques to support you.

From the last 6+ years doing medical social work, I know people rarely face just one challenge at a time. I specialize in counseling clients and their families who are experiencing the stress and losses that accompany chronic or life-limiting illness while simultaneously juggling other life challenges. I’ve helped my clients cope with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, traumas, grief, caregiver burnout and complex family dynamics.

I look forward to hearing your story and supporting you through this process.

Starting therapy can be an intimidating, but life changing decision. My goal is to foster an authentic, individualized, and judgment-free relationship, no matter who you are or where you're at in life. Whether you are brand new to therapy, or have been in therapy for years and need something new, I am here to support you from session one.
Your wellbeing is my priority, and no two people's care looks the same. I focus on collaboration and highlighting the strengths you inevitably have, while also pointing out the areas of potential growth. When working together, I will combine traditional talk therapy with an integrated health approach. What this means is, as we explore what brings you in each week, we will also talk about all aspects of your health like quality of sleep, chronic pain, work life, finances, and all things that affect your health and wellness.
As a licensed social worker, graduate fellow and counselor, I have over 15 years of experience in the field of mental and behavioral health. I work with individuals, couples, families, and children with a whole range of concerns. I strive to be an excellent mental healthcare provider and create an individualized approach that best suits your wants and needs.

I am fully bilingual and able to conduct sessions in Spanish for clients who would be more comfortable in their native language.
I believe mental health cannot exist separate from physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual health. I look to help clients explore all aspects of wellness in a safe and non-judgmental environment, and am open to working collaboratively with other health professionals. I look forward to assisting clients experiencing grief, trauma, medical conditions, life challenges, and moral injury.
