Hitting a Wall

So many people have said that after nearly a year of living through a pandemic they really are hitting a wall. That image can feel painful and leaves us feeling

hopeless. What if we looked at hitting a wall in a different way. Perhaps when we hit a wall it was put there for us to pause and lean on it for a moment and take a break. Not all walls can be climbed over, broken through or overcome. So maybe, just maybe, it's time to take a break, take a breath and rest on that wall. We have all been through so much. Taking a break and taking a breath may be the very thing that will help us through the next steps of this journey. Pause, breathe, take a hot bath, a longer shower, a brisk walk, listen to music, read a book and just be calm in the present moment. You don't have to overcome anything today. Lean on that wall and give yourself a much needed break.
